NOVELL FINALIZING the NEXT GROUPWISE
Novell continues to strengthen its collaboration offerings and the next version of GroupWise is no exception. Currently labeled code name “Windmere” the next GroupWise overhauls many things. Most notably is the new web administration interface…gone is ConsoleOne!! Agents will be 64-bit only and just run on Linux (SLES/OES) and Windows 2008/2012. Many new client capabilities are coming, old client capabilities are being dropped for compatibility reasons and AD authentication will be added.
IGTG will be ready to assist with teaching, upgrading, migrations back to GroupWise, on the day the next GroupWise ships sometime this year.
